What Makes a good photo?
Henri Cartier-Bresson once said, “A good photo is one that you look at for more than a second.” This principle resonates deeply with me, as my passion for photography extends far beyond simply pressing the shutter button. Since my youth, I’ve been deeply engaged in photography, driven by a passion that was nurtured by my cosmopolitan upbringing. Art, music, and film have always been my greatest sources of inspiration, shaping not only my artistic vision but also my photographic approach.
From movie to photography.
My journey began in film, where over the years I worked on various projects such as short films, commercials, and music videos. These experiences honed my eye for detail, composition, and storytelling. The transition from moving images to capturing single moments in a photograph was a natural progression. It allowed me to express my creativity in new and exciting ways.
The Photographic Metamorphosis.
Early in my career, I settled in Munich, where I started as a concert photographer. This role allowed me to combine my passion for music with my love for photography, capturing the energy and emotions of live performances. Over the years, I photographed over 200 bands, including big names like Metallica, Linkin Park, and Marilyn Manson. These experiences earned me a reputation as one of the most talented concert photographers. My images documented not only the performances but also conveyed the raw emotion and intensity of the moments.
Evolution and New Horizons.
As time went on, I sought new challenges and began exploring other areas of photography. Soon, I discovered my interest in fashion photography. This genre allowed me to merge my enthusiasm for art and style with technical expertise. In fashion photography, I distinguish myself by capturing the elegance and beauty of my subjects while simultaneously conveying deeper narratives.
Portrait and Event Photography.
In addition to fashion and event photography, I continue to pursue my passion for portraits. I photograph actors, musicians, and other creative personalities. My portraits are known for their depth and character, as they capture not only the physical appearance but also the personality and spirit of the subjects. This personal connection enables me to create authentic and impactful images.
